I have been writing ever since I learned how to print. My soul yearns to be able to tell a story with words regardless if it will ever be read.
My husband and I have a large, blended family with six kids, two dogs, and four cats. We live way out in the country in Middle Tennessee where the corn grows and the tobacco smokes. (I seriously love the fall harvest when the tobacco is smoked. The entire countryside is covered with the rich smell that is tainted with molasses.)
I completed my Bachelor of Arts degree in December 2013. I majored in Communication Art with a concentration in Web and Print Journalism with a minor in Professional Writing. I also completed my Master of Arts in Corporate Communications in December of 2015.
As a writer, I have written some parenting articles that are published mostly on ParentsForChrist.com, which is a parenting website that I built as a hobby in my spare time before going back to school. I can also be found occasionally on Faithwriters.com when I have free time.
I write posts as a ghost writer for Benji'sBrokenHeart.com also. It is an awareness blog. Benji is a little boy that is a congenital heart defect survivor living with repaired CoArctation of the Aorta and still has a Bicuspid Aortic Valve with Stenosis. He also has Sensory Processing Disorder along with other issues that have come up.
As I have matured, I find myself starting to revise my earlier work.
In addition to writing, I have also picked up photography. I enjoy taking pictures for family and friends, plus I love landscape photography. My hope is to be able to use my writing and photography skills to pursue working out of the home.
Enjoy my blog.
